Social Entrepreneurship Advocacy (PROBE-Vision)
Enchanted Farm, Angat, Bulacan

Last June 30, 2012, a team from PROBE, CGB, and RVRCOB went to Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan to hold a seminar on Product Development (by JEMA), Basic Accounting (by JPIA), and Basic Finance (by MAFIA). This is part of the year-long community engagement initiative of RVRCOB with social entrepreneurship as its platform. This seminar was attended by social entrepreneurs in the Farm (locals and foreign interns).

Financial Literacy Advocacy (Service Learning Component)
Financial Management Department

Last July 6, 2012, the Financial Management Department through its SPECFIN course (with service learning component, headed by Dr. Junette Perez spearheaded the kick-off of a term-long community engagement project on financial literacy at Y506. Nine public schools took part in this project. Present also during the kick-off were Dr. Neriza Delfino, a full-time faculty of FMD, and Mr. Florenz Tugas.

Welcome Lunch for Bruno Dyck, Ph.D.

Last July 3, 2012, the Management and Organization Department (MOD), together with DLS-College of Saint Benilde, hosted a welcome lunch for Dr. Bruno Dyck at Angelo King Hotel, Manila. It was attended by Dean Brian Gozun, Mr. Florenz Tugas, and faculty members of MOD.

P&G Recruitment Celebratory Dinner

Procter&Gamble Philippines hosted a recruitment celebratory dinner with RVRCOB faculty, administrators, and outstanding graduates last June 18, 2012 at Midas Hotel, along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City. P&G was represented by Mr. Joel Baculi, Mr. Jesse Teo, and Ms. Joy Ann Tan. It was attended by Dr. Brian Gozun, Atty. Christopher Cruz, Dr. Junette Perez, Ms. Gina Manaligod, Ms. Hilda Salendrez, Mr. Florenz Tugas, Mr. Bonvin Nuqui, Mr. Mark Cheng, and Ms. Jemima Vivo.

Meeting with Donald Amoroso, Ph.D.

Last June 19, 2012, we met with Dr. Donald Amoroso, Executive Director of International Center for Innovation and Technology of the Kennesaw State University, through Mr. Raymund Habaradas to explore opportunities for research collaboration on innovation and technology at the DLSU Cooperative Conference Room. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Aida Velasco, CBERD Director.
